Acceptance of These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Telody, the mobile application and related services. By creating an account, signing in with Telegram, or using Telody in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Telody.
Eligibility & Your Account
You sign in to Telody using your Telegram account — Telody does not maintain a separate password-based signup flow. You must be eligible to hold a Telegram account under Telegram's own terms, and old enough to enter into a binding agreement in your country, to use Telody.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of the devices you sign in from, and for all activity under your account. Telody limits accounts to a small number of active sessions at a time; you can review and sign out sessions at any moment from Settings.
What Telody Is (and Isn't)
Telody is a personal organizer and player for audio you already have access to through Telegram channels. It indexes the channels you add, lets you search, favorite, queue, and build playlists from that content, and streams or downloads it on your behalf using Telegram's own APIs.
Telody is not a music streaming platform, does not operate a music catalogue of its own, and does not sell, license, or claim ownership of any song, artwork, or other content shared on Telegram. Telody is an independent, third-party application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Telegram.
Subscription & Billing
Telody is a subscription-based application — an active subscription is required to use the app. Plan durations and pricing are shown inside the app before purchase.
Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund time already paid for, except where required by applicable law.
You can view, manage, or cancel your subscription at any time from Settings inside the app.
Telegram Content & Your Responsibility
The audio, artwork, titles, and other content you find inside the Telegram channels you add to Telody belongs to, and remains the responsibility of, the relevant channel owners and Telegram itself. Telody does not review, verify, or vet the ownership, licensing, or legality of content shared in third-party channels before it appears in your library.
You are solely responsible for making sure the channels you add and the content you access comply with Telegram's Terms of Service, applicable copyright law, and any other law that applies to you. Telody functions only as a personal organizing and playback tool for material you already had access to on Telegram — it does not distribute or publish that content on its own behalf.
Acceptable Use
When using Telody, you agree not to:
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with the subscription, authentication, or security systems of the app.
- Use automated tools to scrape, mass-download, or redistribute content indexed by Telody outside of normal personal use.
- Add channels, playlists, or a profile name intended to harass, impersonate, or mislead other users.
- Use Telody in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of any third party, including Telegram's own Terms of Service.
Violating these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
Playlists & Content You Create
Playlists you create, including their names and whether they're public, are yours to manage. If you make a playlist public, its name and contents become visible to other Telody users through Search — you're responsible for what you choose to make public.
Collaborative playlists are shared with the users you explicitly invite; the playlist owner can remove collaborators or delete the playlist at any time.
Intellectual Property
The Telody name, logo, interface design, and underlying software are the property of Telody and its developer. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use Telody's branding outside of using the app as intended.
Telody claims no ownership over any audio, artwork, or other content sourced from Telegram channels.
Suspension & Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Account; this permanently removes your account and associated data as described in the Privacy Policy.
Telody may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a security risk to the service, with or without notice depending on severity.
Disclaimers
Telody is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work to keep the service reliable, we don't guarantee that Telody, or the Telegram channels it indexes, will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times — availability can also depend on Telegram's own systems, which are outside our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Telody and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of access to content hosted on Telegram, interruptions in service, or issues caused by third-party channels you choose to add.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to Telody or for legal and operational reasons. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Telody after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction where Telody's developer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
